This one bedroom one bathroom condo is located on the first floor of our Grand Tower Building. The views of the Gulf from this condominium are perfect for watching evening sunsets! And since it is on the first floor, it is an easy stroll to the beach which allows you to enjoy our white quartz sand, and the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. To comply with the Sarasota County fire code, the maximum number of guests permitted to sleep in this unit is four. The bedroom has two queen size beds. The living room TV is a 50" flat screen TV, while the bedroom TV is a 32" for your enjoyment. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination with extra vanity. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine (no ice maker). The condo is fully tiled throughout. The patio is enclosed with sliding doors so that you can walk right out into the beautiful beach and catch our tropical breezes.

  Our party of two adults stayed in this unit over Christmas week of 2025. We absolutely loved the ground floor location and beachfront views! It was SO convenient to open the sliding glass doors from the unit to access the beach. Sunset viewing from the unit was outstanding. Due to the hurricanes of 2024, the entire unit is newly remodeled. The furnishings are both beautiful and functional for a beach rental, and the two queen sized beds were comfortable. I LOVED the decor used! We found the kitchen to be well-equipped. The unit was sparkling clean when we arrived. We appreciated that beach chairs were available for our use at no additional charge, and never had an issue securing them each day. We were glad we took our own beach umbrella to use. We have been renting on Siesta for the past 25 years, and this is our new favorite. We absolutely loved this condo, and can’t wait to return!

  We love the Palm Bay Club. Excellent location, beautiful beach, very nice--newly renovated condo, friendly staff! Only one thing we were not a fan of. Setting up so many umbrellas in advance for people to "rent." Seems more ideal to wait until someone actually rents one and then go set it up. Almost daily, about half of the green pre-setup umbrellas were never rented. However, it prevented us from setting up our own umbrella "beach front." Thanks

  We love staying here. We’ve been coming to this unit for 8 years now and a few years ago, it needed some updates so we held off a few years and came back last week. We loved it! They updated the toilet and the refrigerator and overall it was just as enjoyable as we remembered. The beds are comfortable and nothing beats opening up your sliding door and walking straight onto the beach. We will absolutely be coming back! Can’t wait!

  This unit was nice and clean. Had everything we needed for our short stay for my husband and I. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. Everything worked in this unit. Didn’t see any bugs like any other reviews talked about despite the fact that it rained quite a bit during our visit. This was our second stay at Palm Bay Club and we hope we can come again. It’s a perfect location as we have friends in Tampa, Sarasota and Naples so we make the most to visit everyone and get in our beach time as well as hit some great nearby seafood restaurants while here. I would certainly love to rent this same unit again if we could!

  We stay at The Palm Bay Club 1-2 times every year and we’ve stayed in many of the one bedroom condos in the grand tower. We always wanted to stay on the ground floor, mainly for the convenience of no elevator and the patio to the west that faces the beach. We splurged and booked 10 days. I was somewhat disappointed in the condition of the room. We killed many bugs, including 2-3 “palmetto” bugs (aka roaches). We understand this is Florida and we were in the ground floor. The no-see-um bugs and mosquitos were horrendous as well, which is rare for our trips. This is to no fault of the complex, just a weather related bug issue. The bathroom needs work. The trim is rotting near the floor, cabinets doors are crooked and don’t close correctly, etc.. Similar issues can be found in the kitchen. Cabinets are in poor repair, someone used the counter as a cutting board, pans are in bad shape, the coffee maker is horribly rusted. They did off Keurig coffee makers, but we don’t buy K cups. Overall it’s fine, but you’re paying a premium for a gulf view and this is likely the worst unit in the building. I will book a different unit next time for sure.

  Amazing view, and kind staff. The only issue was that the room was a bit outdated. I do recommend that they fumigate against insects a bit more often as in my room I did have to kill 2 roaches. I did notice they have insect traps around the room. The room when we arrived was very clean and organized and they do supply you with enough towels for the stay which that I do appreciate a lot. I would for sure go back again as this was my second time here be hopefully return next year as well.

  The unit is everything it is advertised, ground floor with views of the gulf and walk out onto the beach. We would definitely return to this unit, but it is showing its age or wear and tear from the season. The two queen beds were very comfortable, and all the appliances worked without issue. The sliding glass shower door did have some buildup of stuff and could have used a good scrub or steam washing. The slider leading out to the beach did not have the ability to be locked/unlocked from the outside, so you still needed to walk out the main door and around to the beach, which was not a big deal, but would have been nice to walk out onto the beach. The front door did not automatically lock when leaving the unit, but you get used to it. There are tennis courts, pickle ball and fitness area none of which we used, and the complex is about 1.5 – 2 miles from the village with a trolley stop very close. This is a very good unit and well worth consideration for a stay in Siesta Key. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

  First person we me was Charlie the security manager (fantastic, friendly, accommodating). He helped ensure we were having a pleasant stay, checked us in as we got there late and offered local recommendations. Second was Raphael at the beach (friendly, helpful, kind) who always greeted us in the morning and set up our chairs and also gave local recommendations to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The village was a short drive or golf cart away. Too far to walk.
  
  The beach was amazing. Best sand I've ever felt. Like flour.
  Unfortunately, there was the red tide that went through there and there were many dead fish along the shoreline. Given most of the property along he beach are where we stayed was private, I hoped that they would have at least clean them up so guests don't have to see, smell, step one. I stepped on a few that were hidden below combed sand and actually got a tooth stuck in my foot! Not happy but didn't ruin my trip.
  
  As for the unit, it was nice, location was perfect, clean but outdated. I also had to fix the toilet (no big deal) in the unit and hunt a large cockroach (more of a big deal). I figure the first floor units would have more exposure to bugs but I would hope it is frequently treated. I would return to the tower, but look for another unit because the layout was odd. There was a very large closet that could be a second bedroom. Two queen beds side by side so you'd have to share a room if with others. I'd prefer not to. I will be returning to this beach, not necessarily this unit.

Regarding the toilet and bug issue, we have a top notch maintenance team that would have resolved those issues for you.   We loved staying in this unit. Location! Location! Location! It was perfect for just the 2 of us. Great placement of mirrors throughout. Great storage space. Great swivel chairs for watching TV and sunset. I have 4 small, mostly aesthetic recommendations: #1 Connect a surge protector extension cord behind bed on left. We use C-pap machines and happened to bring an extension cord. However, we had to move bed in order to plug in. Noticed where the wall was getting scraped by people moving bed. If heavy duty extension cord was on bottom shelf of bedside table, the only time bed would have to be moved was to make it. #2 Streamline. Get rid of silk plants and floral arrangements. Not necessary. Dated dust-catchers. The orchids were nice but really dusty. #3 Bedroom color very attractive! Like wall color, furniture color, drapes, blue bedspreads, and parrot pictures. Remove picture on side wall (possibly move to kitchen and remove metal flowers). Fill up jars of shells. Buy 2 large open frames and paint same color as beds. Place around the parrot pictures to make them appear bigger and more grand above each bed. #4 Update accent pillows on your couch to coordinate with new swivel chairs. New matching seat cushions on kitchen chairs would be nice. (check out Ikea). We loved staying in this unit for 11 days. These are small, inexpensive suggestions to improve how unit shows.

  Location of the room was perfect. Room could definitely use renovations and improvements. Very old and dated. Toaster did not work, had to stand holding it down to toast in the morning. Shower corners were dirty and moldy. Ceiling fans make lots of noise. Sofa was ripped. Sliding doors to beach were rusty and extremely hard to open/close. We made the best of it none the less. And again.... location was great.
