Unit 88- First class resort property located on world class beach. | This condo is a one bedroom and one bathroom on the 8th floor of the Grand Tower on Siesta Key beach. The Palm Bay Club is a 206 unit resort property that extends from the Intercoastal waterway to the Gulf of Mexico on the barrier island of Siesta Key adjacent to Sarasota, Florida. There are spectacular views down the beach as far as the eye can see. Enjoy morning coffee on the open lanai as the waves crash below, or enjoy an evening drink as the sunsets in the west. Walk out to the sugary white coral sands of the world renowned Crescent Beach and enjoy all things beachy. Use the furnished lounge chairs or rent a cabana for a reasonable fee. Swim or sun at either of the two large heated pools, or relax in the heated spa. Our tennis courts are popular while bicycling and boating rentals are nearby. | This condo was fully remodeled in the fall of 2018. The condo is furnished with a king size bed and queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress purchased in November 2021 also has a 40" flat screen TV. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower with sliding glass doors. There is additional sleeping on the queen sofa bed in the living room for guest use. The living room has a 55" flat screen TV with Direct Tv service. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and is supplied with the necessary items you need for cooking (pots/pans, dishes, utensils) and a 12 cup Mr. Coffee standard coffee maker , as well as a Keurig. The condo is fully tiled throughout and is beautifully furnished with an open balcony and the most spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.

  We loved the view, well furnished, remodeled bathroom, the tower is right on the beach!, ran out of lounge chairs on beach on sunny days but the Palm Bay club did get more before we left. The pool is great, water heated well. The trolleys are fun to ride. Great beach to walk with lots of shells. TVs nice in unit. We enjoyed our stay.

  My family of 3 enjoyed our stay at the Palm Bay Club. This condo was very nice but here are some tips that you might find helpful, should you stay here:
  1. If using the pull out couch for a bed, the top sheet is not provided until check-in. You will need to ask for it from the front office.
  2. The room with the pull out couch does not have black out curtains.
  3. There are no ceiling fans, but the A/C did well.
  4. There is an oscillating fan provided, as well as a drying rack, laundry basket, and some hangers.
  5. There were plenty of pillows to choose from.
  6. Only one elevator was working, but that never seemed to be an issue for us.
  7. Plan wisely for check out, as there may not be a luggage rack. We used a shopping cart they had on the property.
  8. There are no public restrooms on the beach, nor in the building.
  
  We felt everything matched what was shown in the photos. All the instructions provided in the emails were helpful and please make sure to pay attention to that info.
  
  We would certainly stay here again should be ever come back to Siesta Key.

  One of the best views on Crescent Beach. So fabulous to wake up and hear and see the waves below... Can’t be beat. This facility keeps the beach immaculate and the grounds are still spectacular to look at. This is our third stay at the Palm Bayclub ,
  
  Must mention a word of caution for more mature occupants here. Spring break lasts March and April and so glad the facility hired extra security guards, very nice men by the way, who are desperately needed unfortunately. Main complaint is still the elevator. Yes they had problems two years ago and even the time before that. Don’t understand why a lovely facility as such can have same big problem. Sometimes waits can be long to get to and from ground level. This particular unit was fine. Kitchen was clean and equipped. However the bathroom needed some tidying up and replacements. Extra pillows and a blanket for cool nights would have been appreciated in the bedroom. Also during our stay they had to install a hot water heater and that definitely cut into our privacy one particular afternoon when we were very tired. Lastly one of the young ladies when we were checking out, appeared annoyed because she had to help us with a Boarding Pass. Did not appreciate the attitude. But as I said the location of this unit and this facility is phenomenal.

When addressing the issue with the water heater, we did inform you of the issue upon check in. With this unit being on the 8th floor, and the water heater actively leaking, this issue could have become a much larger incident if it began leaking to the floors below. The plumbers were able to get in and out fairly quickly, and allow you to continue with your vacation. As for the boarding pass situation, our staff member did attempt to assist you, however it seemed like you had the situation under control and running smoothly.   My fiancé and I really enjoyed our time here. Nice complex in a good location with friendly staff. The unit itself was pretty nicely furnished, and the views through the living room and from the porch were great. The property is a pretty large complex but this particular unit is located in the “tower” which from what I can tell is the best building as it is basically right on the beach, we loved the convenience of going down the elevator and your basically steps from the beach. There is also a beach attendant that sets up lounge chairs for you for free, and you can also rent additional services such as cabanas etc. Not much in walking distance as it is located on a nice resort/beach part of Siesta Key but you are a short walk from a trolley stop which is free to use and a 5 minute ride takes you down to the village where there are a number of great bars/restaurants/shops - also goes to other parts of the key with more of the same. There are a handful of free ride companies in the area as well so there are transportation options. Overall the big draw here is the location on a beautiful white sandy beach and the type of place you can easily get away with not having a rental car. I would definitely stay here again!

  We greatly enjoyed our stay in this unit at the Palm Bay Club. The unit was very clean when we arrived. There were several amenities that were provided. The gigantic bathroom with double sinks, loads of storage drawers & cabinets, plus a hanging area was a pleasant surprise. The southern view down the beach was spectacular, as were the sunsets. It truly was just steps from the exit of the tower to the beach. There was even a beach attendant who would transport lounges and/or chairs to the spot you selected on the beach. Speaking of the beach, it is the best we have found in the U. S. All the employees of the property were very friendly & helpful. The microwave quit working. We contacted the front desk & they had maintenance there in about 10 minutes. The men diagnosed the problem & had it working in no time. We highly recommend the Palm Bay Club & this unit.

  We were only ther for 3 das as that is the minimum stay. We were the for a destination wedding and was told to stay at The Palm Bay Club Resort. It’s a nice resort and I feel a little pricey but maybe that is the going rate to be on the beach. They advertise what to bring and tell you bath soap is complimentary, well that is only the first two bars so bring your own soap and check out time is 10:00 so be prepared!!!

We give a starter kit containing some welcome items including 1 pot of coffee & condiments for the coffee, along with a 3 ounce bottle of dish detergent, and 1 load worth of dishwasher detergent.We also provide complimentary facial tissue, and toilet paper by request in the front office.   The Palm Bay club has fantastic amenities and a great location. We used the tennis courts where they provide the racquets and balls for free, we reserved the grill area for our party of 23 which was located right on the beach, we rented a cabana for the beach which was fabulous on those windy days and we used the laundry facilities available on each floor using a prepaid card FYI I purchase at the check on desk. The staff kept the building and elevators very COVID clean and you are required to use your room key to access the Towers so security wasn’t a concern. Lots of insight parking. The free (tips welcomed) Frog Hopper/trolley system that goes back and forth to downtown Siesta Key made transportation fir dinners a nonissue. Each unit provides beach towels and you are allowed one fill linen/towel exchange per stay if you are there over 7 nights. Our only complaint was the unfriendly staff at the front desk. We ran out of toilet paper kid trip and we called to request additional and the staff was extremely rude when we asked iff housekeeping could drop some off (you need to go to the main office fir mire). They were also very unfriendly when we called to request our allotted linen exchange. However, all of the other employees we encountered on our stay were very friendly and helpful!!

  We stayed for a week in this vacation rental. It has an amazing view of the beautiful beach below. The condominium was great. The storage in the bedroom and bathroom were perfect. The outside deck was spacious and fun to sit on and enjoy the beautiful view. A light on the deck would be a good addition. We had no complaints and would stay there again. The only recommendation we would give is that the interior could use a little facelift as far as furniture etc. But what was there was very comfortable.

  It was as described and a good location
  The staff at the front were efficient but not overly helpful. Kind of like I was bothering them to check in. Was not busy at all and simple request of a parking pass for a visitor for a day was like a problem and it wasn’t busy season and there were numerous empty spots by the tower
  When guest arrived the security guard was not helpful but rude actually I heard the conversation over the phone when they called me. This alone is why I will not use this facility again
