This third floor 1 bedroom 1 ½ bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. Because of its central location on our property, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbecues. It is also a very short stroll to the Bay Side part of our property which has a hot tub and a second pool. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, this unit sleeps a maximum of four people. The comfortably decorated bedroom is furnished with a brand new, SUPER SOFT, king size bed with a 32" flat screen TV, and the living room has a large 55" flat screen TV with HD TV service. The bathroom has a convenient tub/shower combination with a grab bar, while the half bath is equipped with a sink and toilet. The spacious, open kitchen plan is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine. The condo is completely tiled throughout. There is also a comfortably furnished outdoor patio which is screened-in so that you may enjoy our warm tropical breezes with your friends and family.

  The condo was very nice, but it did not match the on-line pictures. One of the criteria we used to select our unit was the view from the deck. We expected to be able to see something worthwhile from there. Instead, all we saw was a 3 story building next door. In addition, it had a bright light that shined at us when we were on the deck in the evening.

  Pros: Location was great. Grounds were nice and clean. Beach chairs were a plus. The Frog Shuttle was very convenient and easy to call and get back and forth from restaurants and stores. The condo furniture and amenities were very nice. Bedroom was huge and bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The screened in porch was great and had ample seating for us all to enjoy at the same time. The bedroom closet was very large with plenty of hangers for clothes. The additional 1/2 bath was a plus especially with 4 people.
  Our air conditioner did not work the first 2 days. It wasn't needed until day 3. We called and maintenance was very quick to come and check it out and get it working.
  Cons: The main bathroom could use some upgrades. The outlets were loose and scary! The TP and towel holders need tightened. We did not use them for fear they would fall off. The floor outside the shower needs replaced as it looks to be coming up due to water. We did not have sheets for the pull out couch so we had to use our own. We were surprised that the laundry was not in the condo. We did use the laundry area and it could use a good clean. Some of the light bulbs were out and made that area scary at night. The washing machine drained into the floor drain which caused a puddle of water and potential slip hazard.

  We had a great stay except for the construction right outside our balcony. It would’ve been nice if management would’ve told me there would be loud hammering starting early in the mornings and even on the weekend. Couldn’t enjoy sitting on the balcony at all and my kids were up bright and early due to the loudness. Not ideal for vacation for the price I paid to stay here. The property was clean and safe!   The Palm tree lined walkway to the beach is one of the prettiest views in Siesta Key. We have stayed in several of the units at Palm Bay Club, this being our first 1 bedroom, we were thrilled with the unit. It appears there are new owners who have gone above and beyond to well equip the unit for renters. The kitchen is now well stocked with everything one would need, and the amount of linens available including cozy blankets, extra pillows, etc. was amazing! Brand new patio furniture for relaxing after a beach day and comfortable family room furniture as well. The pull out couch mattress wasn't the most comfortable, as to be expected. But convenient if your kids join on the trip. We very much enjoyed our stay in this updated unit!

The only complaint was our front door lock/jam was broken, it worked but made it rather difficult to open when the dead-bolt wouldn't retract fully. It would take 5-6 times to get it to retract fully enough to open the door.

  This unit was extremely clean and very nice. The extra half bath was also a nice addition. The furniture is comfy. The mattress has some valleys in it, but was still pretty comfortable. The balcony is useless, as it looks over someone's house and all of their trash, but the rest of the unit is great! Bring your own coffee filters though, as none are provided (we left some for the next guests :)). The only thing we had issues with were the front door. You had to put the key in a certain way and keep it there to get it to open and the door itself is somewhat broken because it seems everyone has had issues with it. So for safety's sake, the door needs fixed as it would be easy to bust open since it's already splintered and broken.

  Siesta Key is our all time favorite vacation spot and this was our 21st year here! It was our second time staying at Palm Bay and it was wonderful. Clean accommodations and great location. The unit was roomy for 4 adults. There were plenty of towels provided for our 8 day stay however I would recommend more kitchen items. The unit does have both a regular and keurig coffee maker.

  Easy check in, great location, trolley stop right at complex, Siesta Keys village less than two miles, lots of restaurants in area. Unit was beach side so steps to the pool and one minute walk onto the beach..plenty of chairs at the beach and pool. Used the pool on the inlet side of property and very quiet. You do have to cross the road to get to the inlet side but there is a cross walk and the cars will stop if you hit the button at the cross walk.
  
  Only complaint we had was the bed. Needs to be replaced, old and uncomfortable. There is no view from patio but you don't really need one if you are at the beach all day. Condo had everything you need for a beach vacation.
