This third floor 1 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. There is a spacious elevator to take you to the third floor. Because of its central location, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbeques. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our one bedroom units sleep a maximum of four people. The bedroom is furnished with two queen size beds and a 42" flat screen TV. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The living room is equipped with a 42" flat screen TV. The lovely newly renovated kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances with plenty of cabinets. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine. There is tile throughout the condo. The patio is incorporated into the living room and has sliding doors to allow you and your family to enjoy our warm tropical breezes.

  I really enjoyed my stay here at Palm Bay. Room was great (clean), close distance to the beach, security is top notch, and the atmosphere was perfect
  
  My only critiques are the kitchen lacked some basic kitchen items: cutting boards & containers with lids. Also it was confusing to work the TV in the bedroom. It took 3 of us to figure it out.

  Our 2nd time at this property, we love the facilities and staff. Last year we stayed in the Towers but were unable to re-book due to a busier season and updating to the Tower itself. This unit fell short. Much of it is outdated, it was not well stocked to cook meals and a few things were broken. TV in living room didnt work and patio blinds were broken. Though it was very clean, its in need of updating and TLC to make this a unit worth staying in again. We'll be back next year but will be staying in the Towers

  The staff was very very nice and pleasant. The Property was very enjoyable as you could walk to the beach or spend the day at the pools. It was great they didn't collect the beach chairs until sunset!!
  The property was well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and the unit was very nice. There were a few items that should be addressed. The electrical outlets were "loose" meaning cords plugged in would not stay in. That should be addressed immediately as it could pose a hazard, there was only one good outlet in the bedroom for charging phones and tablets.
  The kitchen could use a few updated items like frying pan that doesn't stick and a few large mugs but overall doable...since we ate out for dinners.

  Perfect size for two. Living room furniture has been updated and is vey comfortable as is the bed. Check in/out was a breeze. Security is very visible and no issues with spring break parties/noise. Love having two pools to visit (nice to end a beach day in the hot tub). Not a cooks kitchen by any means. Hopefully pots/pans/knives will be updated in near future. And outlets do need replacing. We found the kitchen outlet and outlet next to bed to be only ones to hold a plug. Balcony is enclosed and carpeted so drying wet clothes/towels was done in foyer & I missed sitting in the fresh air. Plenty of great eating in Siesta Key-seafood galore! It is a car ride away. My favs were Bonjour (a real Parisian treat!) and Siesta Key Wine Bar . Mel (the owner) really pours a good glass of wine! Overall beautiful beach & area.

  Palm Bay Club is a great place to stay. This year we had a three week stay in Unit 177 on the Gulf side.
  
  We were in Unit 177. Overall, it suited our needs but this unit is tired and needs a general sprucing up. Here are some issues that should be taken care of:
  1. The carpet is old and worn and needs either a whole replacement or a deep cleaning.
  2. There is a decorative clock on the wall above the dining table. It does not work, and is held in place on the wall by a piece of dental floss. It has seen its better day and it is apparent by the cracked plastic frame that it has fallen off more than once. There should be either a functional clock in place of it or some artwork.
  3. Netflix is available in on the bedroom flat screen TV, but it is not available on the TV in the living room.
  4. The can opener in the kitchen is manual. But it no longer works and needs to be replaced. The knob turns on the shaft that it is mounted to when you try to open a can. Hence, it will not open a can because the drive cog cannot turn. If one turns the knob without the opener being applied to a can top it seem quite fine. But one does not discover the issue until you actually try to open a can.
  5. The wall electrical outlets need to be replaced. The connection points within the receptacle are so worn and loose that when you plug in something like a phone or I-pad adapter, the adapter will fall out because there is no compression on the adapter blades. Almost all of the outlets have the same problem. I suspect that the receptacles are the ones put in during the original construction, and that the contractor bought the most inexpensive receptacle that could be found. The Management should check these outlets out if they do not believe me.
  6. The kitchen pots and pans are ok for the most part, but they are a hodgepodge of unmatched items like something you would find at a garage sale. For the price that someone pays for this unit a decent set o
