Unit 91- 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Gulf Front Condominium. | This newly renovated two bedroom two bathroom condo is located on the ninth floor of our Grande Tower Building. The amazing gulf views from this unit allow you to enjoy our beautiful sunsets! Possibly sighting a manatee, or the dolphins playing in the surf. Because of its location, it is a short stroll to our white quartz beach and the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This beautifully decorated condominium is perfect for a Siesta Key vacation. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed with a 32" flat screen TV, and the guest bedroom has two queen size beds with a 32" flat screen TV. To comply with the Sarasota County fire code, the maximum number of guests permitted to sleep in this unit is six. The large living room is equipped with a 42" flat screen TV with Direct TV service for your enjoyment The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and the guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The open plan kitchen has granite counter tops and an abundance of cabinets. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine. The condo is completely tiled. The comfortably furnished enclosed patio with sliding windows, allows you to enjoy our warm tropical breezes.

  This was our first stay in 091, but we have stayed in the grand tower many times. 091 has been in the top 3 of the nicest units we have rented. Will definitely return and consider this unit again. New windows are a great upgrade and have been needed throughout the building for years. Furniture was comfortable. We only used one bedroom, but having an additional bathroom is a perk. The enclosed patio is perfect for beach viewing in the mornings.

  Great view. Breathtaking even on a rainy day. It was an easy ride down the elevator and a few steps to the beautiful beach! The pools looked nice, but we were at the beach every day! There are plenty of free transportation options to hit the touristy village, dinner, and even kayak adventure at Turtle Beach. Instacart was timely delivery to the rental location. Only negative was that the laundry machines were not working using the APP, because the complex did offer purchase of laundry cards at office.

  Our family vacation to Siesta Key was relaxing in part to how nice the condo was. This was our First trip to this area. The condo was as advertised and the location in the tower on the 9th floor was ideal for coastal sunsets. Condo was clean, and the temps were scorching hot outside, but relieved that the air conditioning was working. The master bedroom mattress was probably ready to be replaced, I wish the sheets had a higher thread count, and only one elevator was working at the time. Those would be the only improvements I would suggest. The workers were wonderful the pool and property was kept clean. While on the beach they had chairs and loungers for all guests - and they had a service that would return the chairs after 5pm. So you didn’t have to bring them back to the sea wall.

  We were pleasantly surprised with our condo. We’ve never been to siesta key before and totally lucked out by booking this condo.
  The view is amazing and everything we needed (and more) was available within the condo.
  The only downside was we couldn’t get into our condo until 4pm, the office didn’t help very much when we asked for towels or an expected time.
  Also only 1 elevator worked the whole time we were there making our trips to the 9th floor more of an inconvenience.

  You can’t beat the view but the property itself needs attention. We have visited Palm Bay frequently. The management needs to fix the elevators! Had the same problem as 2 years ago. The unit we stayed in is not well equipped for cooking. Saucepans with no lids and a bent frying pan(management did replace that). The K cup coffee maker did not work so we had to buy our own.
  Unfortunately, Siesta Key, is just too crowded. The traffic on and off island has gotten much worse than just 2 years ago and planned development will be a problem.

  Let me start by saying we love the Palm Bay Club for location and the view of the units. This unit in particular had a very strange smell. It was rather musty. The master bedroom smelled like BO. They changed the air filter and sprayed, which helped temporarily, but then it smelled sour and like chemicals. I don’t know if the furniture needs a refresh or the comforters or what. Either way, I appreciate trying to rectify it when we were there, but I would have a hard time renting the same unit with fear of the smell. As always with the numbers 1 and 3 units in the tower, the view, beach and lobby are amazing. The main hallways could use some updating (new carpet and decor). The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. We will return but may explore a different unit.

  I enjoyed my stay at the Palm Bay Club - but for the elevator incident. Unfortunately, one of the elevators in the Tower broke down trapping me and a friend in the elevator for 30-35 minutes on Sunday evening. Not a pleasant experience. To make matters worse, the emergency call button in the elevator did not function properly. It just replayed an automated message without allowing for an outside connection. I am thankful that I had cell service to call 911 and thankful for the response of the Sarasota Fire Dept. and security. However, I am surprised and disappointed that management has failed to follow-up and contact me after the mishap as the disturbing elevator event marred an otherwise enjoyable stay at the Palm Bay Club.

  We frequent this condo regularly and was very disappointed this time. Cabinets were all locked so no place to store groceries. Less dishes and glasses so for 6 people, dishwasher had to be run after each meal. I know we were there during red tide, but staff cleared beach of dead fish at waters edge but proceeded to bury them on the property closer to the tower but not even 1 foot below. Gross? Why not use garbage bags? Lastly, there were obnoxious people on the beach way after midnight each night and security/sheriffs office were unable to get under control. I would not recommend a visit here in July. We have gone other months and never had an issue.

We're sorry for the inconveniences of this trip, and we're discussing them right now with the staff and security team about the late night goers on the beach and how to handle them. When it comes to the fish and red tide, Sarasota County is in charge of the removal and disposal of the fish. We have nothing to do with what the county decides to do. We tried a few years ago to throw the fish into trash bags, but due to the heat and the access amount in the dumpster, it caused a very strong odor that didn't go away for quiet some time. We were also unaware that the cabinets were locked in the unit. Each unit is own individualy, and we would of been happy to help you figure out the cabinet situation. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope to see you back with us next year.

  The view is absolutely spectacular. Gorgeous beach and beautiful view from every room in this unit. Possibly could use a fresh coat of paint near the window in the dining area. Disappointed that there were no cupboards empty for dry stock of groceries. Cabinets were available but kept locked- that was disappointing to have groceries all over the counter tops in such a beautiful Condo. Would have liked to have additional linens (Towels) not enough towels.

  The unit has the best views I've ever seen while on a beach vacation. Both bedrooms faced the gulf with windows that open and the living room and kitchen face south with large windows and an excellent view of beach and gulf and sunset.
  
  The unit was clean and modern. Elevators were fast. And there were plenty of nice beach chairs to use.
  
  We walked to dinner and lunch, just under a mile away.

  This is a great place to stay and we will be back again. The location is right on the beach. Gorgeous views!! The place has everything you need. Our only issue was the windows leaked a lot with rain. Our first day there was water on the floor from a rain. Then we were hit with hurricane ETA and we had a ton of water in the unit. This should be addressed. Despite that we will definitely come back soon and recommend the unit to our family/friends!!

  This was my second visit to The Palm Bay Club and first time staying in the Towers. I enjoy the lovely beach and like being able to hang out on the bay as well. The grounds are very well maintain and the staff is wonderful to deal with. This condo is in a great location in Siesta Key.
