This first floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. Because of its central location, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbecues. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people. The master bedroom is furnished with one king size bed with a 50" flat screen TV with HD, while the guest bedroom has two full size beds with a 50" flat screen TV with HD. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and the guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The living room is equipped with a 80" flat screen TV with FIOS HDTV service for your enjoyment. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a coffee maker and a Keurig. There is carpeting in the two bedrooms and the balance of the unit is tiled. The patio has been enclosed for a larger living space.

  We had a great time staying here. Short walk to the beach. The unit could have used some updating but was ok for what we needed. The online description was accurate. Property was well kept. Our group did have noisy neighbors above us the last few days. We took the trolley to the village a few times. Great trolley drivers!

  We had a great time at Palm Bay. Our unit needs some TLC. The mattresses in the master bedroom new to be replaced. They creak when you sit or stand, or even turn. They also have an indentation. Other than that, it was nice. FYI: unit does not include paper towel or sponge.

  Palm Bay Club is in the middle of everything you need in Siesta Keys. Perfect walking distance to either the Village or bridge area. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We rented #153 which is perfectly in the middle; short walk to the amazing beach and a short walk to the pool/Pickleball courts. The condo's general condition was good, but the master bedroom's furniture is old and needs an update. Head boards weren't attached to (small) double beds, which doesn't work for tall adults (5'9"& 6'1") Second bedroom with twin beds is nice.

  Let me start by saying that we love the Palm Bay Club and have had good luck with other units that we rented. However this year our unit was a bit too "well used". Here are the issues that we had:
  
  - The bedroom arrangement featured two double beds in the master room and two twin beds in the second bedroom. Really?! A minimum of a queen bed in the master is expected with doubles in the extra at a minimum. Also, the bed coverings and sheets were getting close to shabby.
  
  - The bath/shower in the hallway bathroom was too dirty looking and rusty looking to be usable. The master shower was fine.
  
  - There seemed to be electrical issues in the condo. The lights would flicker and the smoke detector (electrical) outside master bedroom was working about half the time.
  
  - The screen door heading into the unit was missing a latch and therefore would slam shut.
  
  - little issues also in the kitchen, i.e. cracked microwave door, scratched and dirty stovetop unit
  
  The condo just needs a bit of attention by the owners. We do love the resort and the office staff was very attentive when our internet went out - they sent someone right over and it worked within the hour - however that leads me back to the electrical power issues...
  
  We will be renting at Palm Bay again, but not this unit.

  Easy to book, check in, and check out. Front desk staff and security were all so nice and pleasant! The heated pool was wonderful for chilly days in December. The private beach with complimentary chairs and loungers was great so we didn’t have to haul our own down. Our unit was nice with mostly everything we needed. It was nice to have a place to park our vehicle near our unit and there is overflow parking at the front for guests. The resort is very close to the trolley stop to take to the village. A few recommendations for the unit would be some new pans because they’re all scratched up and I didn’t feel comfortable cooking with them and electrical updates. The lamps and outlets in the master bathroom didn’t work. The hair dryer on the wall in master bath didn’t work but they supplied a dryer under the counter.

  The weather was beautiful but our room was not greart. The furniture waws not really comfortable for relaxing ait would have been nice to have a little table and chairs on the porch. The mattresses on the bed were way too soft and we could not sleep on them. The water at the kitchen sink did not get hot. The pools were really nice and the exercise room was great. Location was great and people were very friendly. Great restaurants nearby.

  Will not rent this unit again. Toilet in guest bath runs constantly. Air smelled like mold. Had 4 of the 5 of us there become ill we think from the air....Bedrooms would not get proper air at night so had to get a fan. There was a family upstairs with 4 adults and 4 children that were constantly making loud food traffic. Front desk gals very helpful as usual.
